History of Site Updates
29 July 2010
- Updated the Committee page with the new committee
members for 2010/11.
- Added link to Goldfields Model Supplies new web site on the
Links page under Commercial section.
- Added Ballarat Aeromodellers Inc. to list of club web sites on the
Links page under clubs section.
16 July 2010
- The Contact Us page has been enhanced with the
facility to send emails directly to club representatives.
- The Committee page now displays the club's domain
email addresses for committee members. These BRMFC email addresses are
automatically forwarded on to the incumbents' preferred email address.

- Web site now hosted by
aspwebhosting.com.au and our new domain name
www.brmfc.org.au (www is not necessary)
delegated. The former site was www.startek.com.au/brmfc.
- The new host will provide a more reliable service and better performance.

- Minor change to the flying field location page.
Updated distance from railway line to Spreadeagle Road using GPS data (5.2km).
Mentioned that the 'Spreadeagle Road' road sign is stencilled on the culvert.
- Minor correction to 2010/2011 membership payment form. Enable Club/VMAA fee
components to be itemized in tear off receipt. Refined the senior/junior
definition so it agrees exactly with the VMAA definition in item 3 of the Club
/SIG Re-Affiliation Procedure.
- Upated the membership page to refine senior/junior
definition.

- On the
Links page, in response to a request by the owner,
changed title of link to Xenon Project International from "Xenon
Project's RC Airplanes" to just "RC Airplanes".
- Uploaded 2010/2011 membership payment form.

- Modified the period that the CFA (Country Fire Authority) Total Fire Ban RSS Feed
displays on the home page. This
now displays from mid November through to mid April. (Dates can be changed
easily by a data file to take current weather conditions into consideration.)

- Enable user to select Now & Forecast weather display to
supplement the existing Now (current) weather feed.
- Display in all page headers, the date/time web server sends page to user. The
time is either Australian Eastern Standard Time (AEST), GMT +1000 or Australian Eastern Daylight Saving Time (AEDT), GMT +1100.
- Updated link to revised MAAA 2.4GHz policy in FAQs page.
- Added CFA (Country Fire Authority) Total Fire Ban RSS Feed to home page. This
will display during the fire danger period of
November through to
April.
- Explicitly set the tooltip of the 'rotating' image on the home page using the
alternate text. Some browsers do display alternate text as tooltip. (IE8 doesn't
unless in compatibility mode.)

- The side menu may be optionally displayed as a tree menu instead of pop outs by
checking the checkbox adjacent to the heading Main Menu. This setting
is preserved if first-party cookies are enabled in your browser settings. When displayed
as a tree menu the nodes are automatically expanded down to the current page.
